Endless Quest

O slave of Neptune, kings of seas
Mighty ocean, what secrets you hold inside thee!!
Many fathoms of water you hold,
Nobody could ever fathom it no matter how much old.

What you think and want is difficult to descry,
As you can do anything but cry.
There is no way to tell the tears that you shed,
From the waters which you tread .

Your emotions are shown ,
By the constant ravaging of the waters you own.
For the love which you seek ,
Is far away in skies beyond your reach.

Moon, the gleaming white orb ,
Is your beloved heartthrob .
Every time it comes near ,
You cry out loud for every one to hear!!

The futility of your efforts is evident ,
None the less you are not diffident .
You don’t loose hope ,
As forgetting love is beyond your scope.

There is a lesson from the ocean to be learn,
If it’s the love that you want to earn !!
You have to keep on trying ,
Till you melt the heart of your darling.

It was dark and the space was constricted .The only noises were those of subdued snores and the faint humming sounds of the AC. Dragging my baggage with great amount of effort I finally reached my destination. Madame Toastmaster, fellow Toastmasters and guests. I was shocked to see someone else cozily cuddled in my seat like a baby. I kept my luggage aside, gently shook the sleeping gentleman out of his slumber and said confidently "Sir this is my seat". Reluctantly and irritated he got up. He removed his ticket from the wallet, and claimed that seat was indeed his. Discussion followed, people woke from their deep sleep and started gathering, like flies gather around a cake. Finally the TT came, took both tickets in his custody and like a priest solemnly pronounced my ticket is a day old. I felt the floor of AC compartment of the railway coach slip beneath me. The anomaly of the Gregorian calendar manifested itself with dire consequences on that fateful day. The arrival ...

Mind your religion

From ancient times man has always belive in a superpower as a explaination to unexplained. The thunder, the lightning ,the life ,itself was to complicated for ancient man to come up with a logical solution other than existance of a GOD.One would expect that now we have the proper scienctific explanation to every thing the need of God should be lessen, or atleast the need of religious rituals could be done away with..But on the contrary the need and requirement of God has risen with the rising economy..Now we have to bribe our way through temple ,to avoid never ending ques, to get glimpse of God..and we hope that HE will look after us..afterall we just spent whole lot of money and time on God...I belive that God is needed as a diversion in people's life ,a sink where people can pour their anxiety and complains..HE is not required to show us the way..We know when we are doing wrong and we know that we should do good and all..but when the need is there we still do the wrong things ,rar...
