GoodBye and Thanks for All the Bench

This is the Last Day mail that I send to All my friends in Infosys on My Last Day. This Mail Pretty Much summerizes my feelings on closing of one of the most memorable Chapters of My life . =============================== Hi All, It has been 864 days that makes it 3110400 moments of being an Infoscion. These moments were like a roller coaster ride of emotions and experiences. Starting with intense wonder (Mysore Experience), total joy of completion of training, heights of joblessness , helpless feeling of getting stuck in never ending projects, bliss fostering lasting friendship. ...

AAJI

Grandmothers are supposed to be doting, fussing, overprotective, sweet, caring, the conventional qualities of grandmom’s can go on and on. Aaji certainly hit all the checkboxes that makes for a loving affectionate Indian grandmother. But her devotion to her family ,(pretty extended one that too) ,her willingness to help family members in need , her willingness to play perfect hosts to anyone who was in need and her simplicity made Aaji surpass mightiest of expectation that one might have for goodness of grandmother. As far as I can remember most of our childhood vacations were spent with Aaji-Azoba. Either we went to Mumbai or we choose to go somewhere together (tourist destinations with temples). Every such sojourn I pampered with love from Aaji, on such trips I used to spend more time with them than with my parents. My earliest childhood memories were of house in jogeshwari. Reflecting about that flat now makes...

Home Coming to The Whitehouse

OK! its not really whitehouse types.. But its white and its our house .. so we affectionately call it our little 'whitehouse'. 4B2HK , with a front lawn ,duplex its not that little either :P. Its named 'Apoorva-Sandhya' after my bro and my mum. Which means 'an evening likenever before' :D, enchanting ain't it? Since its completion i was never fortunate to live here for considerable amount of time, I was forced to live in utterly puny and constricted rooms , all over the country , literally :(. This time around also i don't have much time to enjoy here :( . Just few days then I am off to living in some dingy flat in a strange country. I am trying to enjoy the max, whatever time I have here. Sleeping peacefully , eating with full gusto ;), spending time with family. But highlight of the day is the daily cycle ride that I undertake , through serene cantonment area nearby. Pelting berries, riped by time and intoxicated by gravity, and sw...

Missing Mysore

It’s been almost a year now, but the memories are still fresh. Memories of good times are like wine, they better with time, they become more intoxicating and powerful, enough to make us travel back in time to those hey days. The details may get blurred but we tend to recall exact emotions that we felt then. Such were the days of my training at Infosys Technologies, held in Mysore. I was at perigee of my confidence ,( due to terrible times at my previous job) , I had no idea what to expect , having heard claims of my friends that they were harassed and thoroughly exploited during their training, I was very skeptical of my chances. Only one thing drove me, that it can’t be as bad as my previous stint. The entry was dramatic and it kind of blew my breath away, being whisked away in a golf cart all I could think was WOWWW. Enormous campus, shining glass façade buildings and spick and span boulevards that seemed to stretch for miles in every direction. The thing that really struck out was e...

The Human Junction

Filthy , dirty , stinking and overcrowded ; images that occur to us when somebody mentions about the Indian Railway Stations. But in my opinion, a lot can be learnt from them if we just be receptive enough to look for them. The Railway Platform is like a huge canvass where one can find all the hues of human emotions mingling with each other and forming a brilliant masterpiece, which is a miniature representation of our society itself! I got to observe this masterpiece during my break journey to home this time around. I had two hours to pass on Itarsi station, before I could board the connecting train to Allahabad. Refused to be bound by the ennui of the first class waiting room, I ventured out for a midnight stroll on the platform. The images offered by the railway station were as usual - vivid and diverse!. One could observe myriads of human emotions and behaviors, all brimming in a small place. Few that I could discern were. - The expression of happiness lit up the faces ...

Love Quotient

This valentine go SentiMental …. This valentine treat your skin so that it glows…. Feel the Love in the air….. What are your plans for this valentine?? …….. Statements like these were booming on the air waves on every radio channel, while I was browsing through them traveling on bus to work yesterday.People surely know to cash in the madness associated with the valentine day.For a person, trickling through the quasi static traffic of Bangalore is a punishment bad enough, and for a single man listening to this sort of gibberish while doing that, is nothing short of torture.I turned off the radio for good, and played Hanuman Chalisa on my cell phone, I thought, its better to indulge in some devotion rather to get more irritated. And who is better than Lord Hanuman (bachelor for life) to distract ones mind from love-shove rubbish. Sadly this Love Bug came chasing me later in the day. When I have to attend a meeting whose theme was Love Quotient . I couldn’t escape reality this time; I had...

For the support of females the examples give were Helen launched thousand ships A specific kind of lady bug who after laying eggs eats its male counterpart The girls getting special treatment in schools and coachings show that they have the power Lioness are the one who provide food to male lion Hitler was driven By his mother's infidelity with a Jew to start World war 2 Cleopatra single handedly threatened the Rome empire.
