Life As It Comes

This is my first attempt to write something creative.
This is about a much discussed topic "How to face adversity".
In my opinion one has to under go many tight spots in their live time sometimes it seems to much too handle. Right now i am suffering from one of these, more about that later.Sometimes you want to cry out loud "why me" or "my luck is really bad for this is happening to me ",almost everybody goes through this phase, moreover sometimes it so happens that one of ur freinds is prime on his luck and u think u are a loser to be in a pathetic situation..
The truth of the matter is adversity is what makes a man strong .. could anyone recall any great person who we know of who had it easy from the begining ,no every body has to struggle to achive something in their life...
It is best to keep our head down and carry on..even if you have done nothing wrong to deserve it... it is similar to travelling in a jam packed train where u can do nothing but to wait for the right station to come...
So take life as it come ,take the sufferins as part of the deal made with life itself ..so that u can enjoy the good moments and cherish them dearly....

Hi Aniket, Supriya here. I like how you've compared living through tough times with waiting for the right station to come. I agree completely! Keep writing, its a great outlet!

Houte Route - Summary Post

It's a pretty popular walk from Chamonix (France) to Zermatt (Switzerland). In winters, it becomes a cross country ski route, but in summer, it transforms to a hiking route, which traverses through pretty high elevation, hence its called Houte Route (High Route). Unlike backpacking in the US, this backpacking was supposed to be much easier, as we were basically staying in hotels/dorms, and we didn't have to carry tents, sleeping bags, and food.    But, we were surprised how hard some of the hiking days were.  We were a group of 6 friends.  My wife (Mona) and I were the most "untrained hikers"; others in our group were more committed and better prepared than us. We expected to walk through Swiss meadows, mountain villages, hi-fi ing cows along the ways. Even though some days were exactly like that, around 1/3 of the trails were very tough and tested us physically and mentally.  Here is a very brief summary of our daily adventures on the trail. Day 1 : Chamonix ...

Love Quotient

This valentine go SentiMental …. This valentine treat your skin so that it glows…. Feel the Love in the air….. What are your plans for this valentine?? …….. Statements like these were booming on the air waves on every radio channel, while I was browsing through them traveling on bus to work yesterday.People surely know to cash in the madness associated with the valentine day.For a person, trickling through the quasi static traffic of Bangalore is a punishment bad enough, and for a single man listening to this sort of gibberish while doing that, is nothing short of torture.I turned off the radio for good, and played Hanuman Chalisa on my cell phone, I thought, its better to indulge in some devotion rather to get more irritated. And who is better than Lord Hanuman (bachelor for life) to distract ones mind from love-shove rubbish. Sadly this Love Bug came chasing me later in the day. When I have to attend a meeting whose theme was Love Quotient . I couldn’t escape reality this time; I had...

TM_Project 3_GoldMines

A slum dweller, without any formal education, knew all the answers to a quiz show. Latter he reveals that he knew the answers unconsciously from incidents and people around him. This was the premise of much celebrated movie in recent times. Can it be useful in real life? Mr. Toastmaster, fellow toastmaster and dear guests. In my opinion one doesn't have to be scholar and read thousands of books to be knowledgeable. The whole world can be your teacher, only if you behave like attentive students you stand to learn a world from them. Also to be knowledgeable is not merely to know facts and figures; one has to learn to behave wisely also. Could there be a better place to start learning than from one’s home. I have learnt a lot from my family. It’s said that mother is the first teacher, which is obvious, but in my case I am still learning from my mother. My mother in her 40’s, comfortably employed in government sector; choose to do her PhD at an age where most of women are worrie...
